clean—high

Ritual: Blue Lotus Tea, Breathwork, Sauna + Cacao

What goes up doesn’t need to come down….

If you’re looking for something that leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and more alive in your body — without the drop — this is it.

In these powerful sessions, I bring together practices to activate the body’s natural “high” — endorphins, dopamine, norepinephrine — while supporting a nervous system that is more balanced, more responsive, and less reactive.

Before I got sober, I used to chase altered states via drugs and alcohol. The payoff was horrendous. Awful mental health, horrific hangovers and a reliance on external substances to manage emotions or create certain states of being - like “getting happy or excited”. Over the years, through my practice and study of meditation, yoga, and breathwork, I began to experience how I could work with my body's physiology in a very real and practical way. I could regulate and access different states — clarity, calm, energy, euphoria — without needing anything external to take me there. I started to regularly experience powerful positive states that could come only from my own physiology. It was liberating.

There’s a kind of elation that comes from the way I combine these practices that feels very different to anything external you would drink or take. The ‘high’ isn’t spiky or frantic, it’s clean. It may feel euphoric, but not in a way that pulls you out of yourself. If anything, you come more into your body, but the biggest difference is there’s no drop-off or crash, no anxiety creeping in later on, just a peacefulness that lasts.

A Personalised Experience

Before the session, we’ll chat about how you’d like to use our time together. It might be to energise and reset; for couples, it can be a deeper sense of connection; with friends, more joy, openness, and a shared, elevated experience. Or you might simply want a space to process and move through emotion.

We begin with blue lotus tea, just enough to soften and drop you in. From there, we drop into a deep breathwork immersion, guided around what you want to shift or open.

We then move into the sauna, with an optional cold plunge if that’s calling to you.

Why Breathwork & Sauna Work So Well Together

Here’s what happens when you combine conscious breathing & heat:

  • Activate your body’s own chemistry: Through heat and breath, you release endorphins, dopamine, and other mood-enhancing neurotransmitters.

  • Better oxygen flow. Warm air expands airways, making every breath smoother and more nourishing.

  • Calmer nervous system. Deep, rhythmic breathing activates relaxation and lowers cortisol – the body’s main stress hormone.

  • Improved circulation. Breathwork enhances the cardiovascular benefits of sauna, helping oxygen reach muscles and tissues faster.

  • Mental clarity. When you control your breath, your mind follows – your focus sharpens, and the noise fades.

  • Longer, more comfortable sessions. Conscious breathing helps regulate body temperature and heart rate, allowing you to stay in the heat safely for longer.

This combination of oxygen, heat and intention is what makes breathwork + sauna so powerful.

Blue Lotus Tea comes from the flower Nymphaea Caerulea

Blue Lotus Tea & Cacao

I start these sessions with Blue Lotus Tea. I’ve been using this beautiful flower in own my meditation for a while. Blue lotus tea comes from the flower Nymphaea caerulea, and it’s been used traditionally (especially in ancient Ancient Egypt) for relaxation and mild mood elevation. Blue lotus contains compounds like aporphine that interact with dopamine pathways, which is why it can feel mildly euphoric or relaxing.

What people typically feel from it is quite subtle:

  • Calming + softening
It can take the edge off the nervous system — a gentle, floaty relaxation rather than sedation.

  • Mood lift
Some people describe a light, almost dreamy sense of wellbeing — not intense, just a quiet uplift.

  • Slightly altered state
At higher amounts, it can feel a bit more inward, hazy, or meditative — like your awareness softens.

  • Body relaxation
There’s often a physical unwinding, similar to the early phase of dropping into rest.

We then close the session with a warm cup of cacao, a gentle way to land, integrate, and complete the experience.

Pricing:

  • $340 for up to 4 people, includes tea, breathwork, sauna, cold-plunge + cacao

    • $90 for each additional person

    • Limit of 7 people

Sessions take approximately 90-minutes.
