Once I learned to meditate, I began to understand what it meant to trust the flow of life…
“To learn to sit, in stillness and be with ourselves is one of the most beautiful gifts we can give our bodies and minds. The meditative process is one that happens spontaneously and simply, we just have to be shown the initial way — the rest follows.”
Over the past decade Claire has taught thousands of students how to cultivate and sustain a daily meditation practice. She has run retreats, workshops and courses in Peru, Mexico, Los Angeles, New Zealand, Fiji, The Philippines, Costa Rica. Her teachings are the culmination of her study of Vedic, Yogic, Hindu and Buddhist traditions integrated with the most important aspect — direct experiences from her daily, non-negotiable practice of Awareness Insight Meditation and breathwork. She has also studied Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté and is currently diving into Internal Family Systems.
As Claire’s own meditation teaching and practices evolved she also created a 3-month comprehensive and transformational program: The Alcohol Reset. Though this program and her own sobriety she continues to change how people drink and create awareness around alcohol as a coping mechanism.
Claire actively supports her students and Resetters as part of her deep commitment to everyone who has learned to meditate with her or completed The Alcohol Reset.
She is the Founder of The School of Modern Meditation.
