What is the Alcohol Reset Pathway?
The ARP is a six-month program for people who are ready to step out of the cycle of drinking, whether that cycle is daily, social, emotional, or simply habitual, and create a life that feels steadier, clearer, and more aligned.
Rooted in self-awareness practices and informed by Compassionate Inquiry and Internal Family Systems, the ARP is both structured and deeply personal. It’s not about white-knuckling it or perfection, nor do we relying on willpower.
It’s about real change through presence, self-inquiry, and compassionate accountability. Most of all, it’s about the realtionship we cultivate and and safety.
Alcohol dependency in all its forms is an adaptive coping mechanism. Within the container we build together, we begin to understand and integrate the perceptions, beliefs, and emotional patterns that have kept alcohol in your life, and we develop healthier, empowered ways of meeting your needs.
This is inner work that creates outer change.
Why six months?
Shifting your relationship with alcohol is not a quick fix.
As I often say:
“It takes time, months, possibly longer in fact, to truly shift the habits and emotional, social, and physical dependency that alcohol can create. The body detoxes first, but the mind and emotions need time to detox too.”
The six-month container allows your body to heal, your nervous system to settle, and your identity to realign with someone who no longer drinks. This is where lasting sobriety becomes possible.
A meditation-based, personalised program
This unique program blends the principles of Awareness Insight Meditation with guided self-reflection through reading and writing exercises in the 14 Stepping Stones of the Alcohol Reset Pathway. Our approach gently explores the underlying emotional patterns and beliefs that contribute to your habits, offering profound insights and a path to lasting change. We call this journey and philosophy The Light-Heart Path.
Over six months, you will:
Cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness to understand your impulses and triggers.
Develop a daily meditation practice.
Learn about the science, psychology and biology of coping mechanisms, habit shifting and creating lasting change
Learn the neurobiology of alcohol use
Engage in structured, evidence-informed exercises that encourage personal growth and clarity.
Develop practical tools to foster compassion for yourself and deepen your connection to your values and goals.
Have 24/7 support and access to Reset mentors as well as Claire.
Experience the freedom that comes with integrating the emotions, triggers and reasons why you drink.
Learn and experience the power of nervous system regulation.
